In the book Lone Cowboy, artist Will James describes a clandestine trade of his worn out horse for another in his escape from Canada. The new horse was an outlaw that gave him a wild midnight ride. Lone Cowboy was his alleged autobiography which has been found to be almost all fiction.

The creative and troubled James would have had a literary classic if he had written a true autobiography of his amazing life.
