Tribute | Breaux

While nature is constantly changing, the harmony of mood and color remain consistent across seasons and time of day.

The title, “Tribute”, resulted from a short hike and a long talk with a friend where we distilled how we see color in nature. We both sat on a bench next to a dry stream bed.  I was pointing to color harmony in nature and my friend was pointing to God’s harmony in nature and our friendship.  The bottom line is everything is connected and a product of the larger picture.  As artists, we are trying to copy the work of the ultimate artist and creator, God.
